The Embassy of Ireland in Vienna and the Centre for Irish Studies would like to invite you to an evening of music and song with Tale of the Gael focused on Joyce’s Dublin as highlighted in Portrait of the Artist as a Young Man. The performance will take the audience on a journey through Dublin, the city that ushered in the 1916 Rising, through music, song, anecdotes and the poetry of the day.

Tale of the Gael are recognised for their skilful weaving of entertainment, fine music and Irish context. The group has performed all over Europe and Ireland as well as in South Africa, Canada, the US, New Zealand and Australia.
