Our graduate conference “American Cultures of Dissent,” taking place on April, 28-29, 2018 in Leipzig (Germany), will investigate diverse representations and conceptions of dissent in a US-American context. Proposals are due on January, 21, 2018.
Furthermore, we are thrilled to announce that Lilly Goren agreed to be this year’s keynote speaker. Professor Goren is a professor of political science and global studies at Carroll University in Waukesha, Wisconsin, where she teaches American government, the presidency, politics and culture, gender studies, politics and literature, and political theory.
Please note that there will be no conference fee and that a limited number of travel grants will be available on a case-by-case basis.
